Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm (28) and first baseman Bryce Harper (3).

You can keep your fancy sports drinks. When it comes to staying hydrated during MLB's Home Run Derby, Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper had other ideas for teammate Alec Bohm.

For those that don’t know, those in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs have a peculiar way of saying the word “water.”  Any local will tell you, water may be spelled with a “T” but it’s pronounced with a “D.”

So when Harper came over to offer Bohm a drink midway through his first-round swings, he made sure Philadelphia and the rest of the world knew exactly what was in the jug. It would have been the night's funniest moment if it weren't for a certain meddling shortstop from the Orioles.

Prior to Bohm’s 21-home run performance in Round 1, Baltimore shortstop Gunnar Henderson produced an amazing Scooby Doo-themed bat and an even better impression for ESPN’s broadcast team.

Harper’s Phillies won two of three games against Henderson’s Orioles in July but both players won over fans with some much-needed levity for MLB.
