Philadelphia Zoo to host Summer Ale Festival this Saturday

The wildest beer festival of the year is coming back to the Philadelphia Zoo this Saturday, July 20.

The Summer Ale Festival will have over 100 award-winning craft beers, seltzers, ciders, and nearly a dozen food trucks.

All attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited samples of the beers, seltzers, and ciders, and food will be available for purchase.

The festival will take place from 7-10 p.m., and beer taps will close at 9:30 p.m.

“We hear year after year from our guests that this festival offers a great variety of beverages and gives them a chance to see our animals up close with fewer crowds,” says Vice President of Guest Experience Cara Treadway.

“Not only is Summer Ale Festival an incredibly fun night, but more importantly, it supports the animals in our care, our global conservation work, and our local community programs.”

Those who are planning to drive to the Zoo will have complimentary parking available. Those who are taking public transportation from 30th Street Station can take a complimentary shuttle to the zoo.

The event will be 21+ with no exceptions. No children or infants allowed.
