    2nd suspect wanted for shooting at Frankford Convenience Store

    Philadelphia Police have arrested a man and are looking for another who is responsible for a shooting that killed a clerk at the Frankford Convenience Store on July 11th.

    37-year-old Kharee Simmons was arrested and charged with Murder, Criminal Conspiracy, Robbery, Theft-Unlawful Taking, and Theft-Receiving Stolen Property in the shooting of Kenneth Kennedy-McLeod.

    Store clerk shot and killed during possible robbery in Frankford

    Police say the shooting happened at 12:18 a.m. on July 11th, when 37-year-old Kennedy-McLeod was found inside the store with gunshot wounds to his left shoulder and right shoulder. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he later died at 12:43 a.m.

    Police are currently looking for Siddeeq Shakoor who they say is wanted in connection to Kennedy-McLead’s murder. Police warn that he is considered armed and dangerous and that he is known to frequent the area of 5600 Windsor Street and 4800 Mulberry Street.

    At the time of the shooting, police found five 9mm FCCs, and no weapon was recovered. Police believe the motive of the shooting was a robbery.
