Philadelphia, PA – Two men have pleaded guilty to third-degree murder for their roles in the beating of a soccer fan outside of Pat’s Steaks in South Philadelphia.

The beating took place after a soccer match played at Suburu Park back in September 2021 turned into a violent argument.

Omar Arce, 35, and Jose Flores-Huerta, 36, were two of the men involved in a group that beat the victim, Isidro Cortez, to death.

Both men are facing a sentencing of anywhere from 11 and a half months to 23 months in prison, with five years of probation.

Police are still searching for the other two men involved in the assault and have issued arrest warrants.
