With the No. 13 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Brandon Graham out of Michigan. For 14 seasons, Graham has been a regular part of the team’s pass-rushing group.

With training camp getting underway ahead of Year 15, Graham spoke about what the future holds for him. There won’t be much playing football left, as he revealed that 2024 will be his final season before retirement.

“It’s my last year, man,” he said after Wednesday’s training camp practice. “So, I’m just trying to soak it all in, trying to enjoy every day, trying to give it everything. No stone unturned.”

Now 36 years old, Graham, the longest-tenured player in Philadelphia Eagles history, overcame some adversity early in his career. People started whispering that he was a bust after some injuries and underwhelming performances out of the gate.

But, once he was able to stay healthy, he got his career on track. He turned into a reliable source of pass-rushing production, someone the coaching staff could always rely on.

His 73 sacks are the fourth most in franchise history. During the 2022 season, he recorded a career-high 11 sacks, marking the first, and to this point, the only time he has had double-digit sacks in a season.

For the 2020 season, Graham made his only Pro Bowl appearance. He played at a high enough level during the 2016 campaign to earn a spot on the All-Pro Second Team as well.

Graham was integral to the Philadelphia Eagles’ run to the Super Bowl during the 2017 season. He had a memorable play against the New England Patriots, sacking Tom Brady and forcing a fumble to help seal he victory.

After a seven-season stretch of starting every game he appeared in, Graham has transitioned to a rotational role along the defensive line the last two seasons. He has thrived, getting after the quarterback with success.

A similar role is expected for the Michigan product this season. His veteran leadership will also be important to the team as they integrate younger players such as Nolan Smith Jr., Bryce Huff and Josh Sweat.
