The Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia will soon need a new name.

Wells Fargo has decided not to renew its naming rights deal when it expires next year.

A company spokesperson said Wells Fargo regularly reviews sponsorship strategies and it made the business decision not to renew the deal for the naming rights.

The current deal expires in August of next year. Wells Fargo is the fourth name for the arena since it opened in 1996.

Through the years it was also known as the CoreStates Center, First Union Center, and the Wachovia Center.
