Philadelphia Eagles fourth-year wide receiver DeVonta Smith says he's been watching a lot of CeeDee Lamb this offseason, as he prepares for his first season under new Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

"Every year you learn different things, you start studying more people and things like that," Smith said on Thursday's 94WIP Morning Show with Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie live from Eagles Training Camp. "I've been watching a lot of CeeDee [Lamb] definitely being in this offense, the things that Kellen has done with him. So watching him, seeing how they used him."

"It's always going to be different when you have a new OC," Smith continued. "Everybody runs the same things, but it's different terminology...You just have to get up to speed with how he calls things."

Moore was the Cowboys' quarterbacks coach in 2018 and then the team's offensive coordinator from 2019-2022.

Lamb, 25, was Dallas' 17th overall pick in 2020. And while he's bigger (6'2", 200-pounds) than Smith (6'0", 170-pounds), both receivers are similar in stature.

Lamb, a three-time Pro Bowler, is coming off his best NFL season where he led the NFL in receptions last season with 135 to go along with his career high 1,749 receiving yards (2nd) and career-high 12 touchdowns (3rd).

As for Smith, he's coming off of his second straight 1,000-yard season and has racked up 240 catches, 3,178 yards, and 19 touchdowns in his first three consistent NFL seasons with the Eagles.

Moore was the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers a team that finished just 21st in scoring (20.4 points per game) after losing many of their top offensive players to injury, including QB Justin Herbert who missed four games.
