Summer Olympics fashion with August Moon Boutique

The 2024 Summer Olympics kicks off on Friday, July 26th, and while there is a lot of talk surrounding the action and athleticism, we wanted to dive deeper into the fashion.

Local, August Moon Boutique owner, Kristina Gaglianese joins us in the PHL17 studio to talk about her Olympics collection.

“For the Olympics I guess I just was going for USA, red, white and blue but things that are a little more, chic and something you can wear again,” says Gaglianese.

August Moon originated as a handmade jewelry brand, founded as a hobby-turned-side biz in 2017. Present day you can still find handmade jewelry along with clothing at the storefront located on1729 E Passyunk Ave in Philly.

“Our vacation collection right now is perfect for the last 6, 8 weeks of summer and then can also transition into early Fall coloring,” says Gaglianese.
