Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and the rest of the offense kicked off the first day of training camp on a very high note.

According to Eagles' insider Eliot Schorr-Parks, who was in attendance at NovaCare Complex on Wednesday, Hurts completed 15 of 16 passes and threw one touchdown to tight end Dallas Goedert.

    Hurts also threw zero interceptions.

Here's what Parks had to say about how Hurts looked in the new offense under Kellen Moore:

"Hurts had a very solid first day. Mostly short/medium passes but accuracy looked good and didn’t put the ball in harm's way. His only incompletion was a dropped pass. His best pass of the day was a touchdown to Dallas Goedert. It was about 35 yards out and Hurts hit Goedert on a nice touch pass right in stride to lead him into the end zone. Hurts looked fast (as always) running the ball the few times he did. Also looked like he did a good job navigating the pocket when there was pressure."

Eagles' New Offense Looks 95% Different?

Hurts told reporters last month that the Eagles' offense looks "95 percent" different .

That drew some concern, but he's been adjusting to it well and the first day of camp practice only proved that.

Hurts was asked about the new offense under Moore again on Wednesday and emphasized that it's a bigger adjustment for the quarterback than any other player on the team, but he's handling it well.

“Everyone has a different opinion on that statement, but everyone’s not the quarterback," Hurts said . "For me and my job and what I’m asked to do, I can see those differences from my vantage point. And I’ve spent a lot of time with that. …Just really trying to make it my own. That’s been a process. It’s been a really good process.”

The biggest change is that the Eagles are running more pre-snap motion , which means a lot more freedom, a lot more unpredictability for opposing defenses, and bigger plays.

Of course, learning a new offense for the fourth time since entering the NFL hasn't been easy, but Hurts said he has enjoyed working with Moore, who has given him the opportunity to make the offense his own.

"I've enjoyed that process with Coach Kellen," Hurts said. "And I've enjoyed every bit of it, just talking, how he sees the game, his trust in my judgment and my instincts. It's very important, and I'm just going out there and playing."
