The Yankees (61-45, second in AL East) are featured on Prime Video for the first time since July 10 as they wrap up a six-game road trip with a visit to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Phillies (65-40, best in MLB).

Following a tough start to the second half, the Yankees got back to their winning ways, taking two out of three against the Red Sox for the first time in three meetings this season.

Sunday night's series finale in Boston also featured Jazz Chisholm Jr. debut in Pinstripes after the 2022 All-Star was traded to the Bronx on Saturday afternoon.

For the Phillies, they've dropped four straight series dating before the All-Star Break, losing a series to the American League leading Cleveland Guardians (63-42) this past weekend in a battle of the best teams in MLB right now.

This is the first meeting between the two organizations in Philadelphia since 2021, where the Phillies won both games against their 2009 World Series opponents.

The series opener will feature two of the best pitchers in baseball this season, with Luis Gil taking the mound for the Yankees and Zack Wheeler getting the start for the Phillies, just two of 15 starting pitchers that have amassed double digit wins so far this season.

What channel is the Yankees game on?

The Yankees vs. Phillies matchup can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video , with first pitch expected to be shortly after 6:30 p.m. ET.

There will be a 30-minute pregame show. YES Network announcer Michael Kay will be doing the games, along with analysts David Cone, Paul O’Neill, Joe Girardi, John Flaherty and Jeff Nelson.

The nearly three week stretch since the Yankees' were last on Prime Video (July 10 at Rays) is the longest they'll go without being on the streaming network throughout the rest of the regular season. The 27-time world champions will be on Prime Video each Wednesday from Aug. 7 versus the Angels until Sept. 18, when they head to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Mariners to start their final road trip of their 2024 campaign.
