Things to do this weekend in Philadelphia: New Milk Jawn opens and Drexel's Basketball Tournament

📰 It's your last couple days to check out the Historical Society of Pennsylvania's political cartoon exhibition . Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Signe Wilkinson will give a talk on Friday, the final day of the exhibit, highlighting her decadeslong career and the history of political cartooning.

🍨 The new Milk Jawn in Northern Liberties is open. The scoop shop has expanded since starting in co-owner Amy Wilson's kitchen and now has two storefronts. They have fun incarnations and vegan options.

🎂 Happy birthday, Sesame Place. The amusement park in Langhorne celebrates the big 44 this week with a huge bash, including Elmo and all your favorite characters. The kids will enjoy the scavenger hunt and Saturday's fireworks show. Through Aug. 4

🎨 Old City gallery Arch Enemy Arts hosts a reception with nine exhibitions, including two contemporary art shows with dozens of artists. Friday, 5-9pm.
