    Nurse stabbed with a needle in Kensington

    A hospital nurse is recovering this morning after being stabbed by a needle.

    This happened around 4:30 a.m. yesterday afternoon at the Temple University Hospital – Episcopal Campus.

    When officers got to the emergency room, the offender was already restrained by hospital staff.

    Security personnel told police that he had arrived with EMTs and that he was displaying violent and agitated behavior.

    There was a struggle with nursing staff, as they attempted to administer medication via a syringe.

    The man was arrested and will be charged with several counts of assault.
