The Phillies screwed Kingery up by changing his swing. They did the same thing with Hopkins & his swing was screwed up for years. An uppercut swing is a bad idea for most players. When I was younger, Ted Williams was generally thought to be the best hitter and baseball history. Read his book. He would advocate a nice, level swing. And, when in a slump, don't try to pull the ball. Try to hit the ball right at the pitcher.
