“Chopped" winner David Ho heads to Arlington for K12 National Cook-Off
ARLINGTON, Va. - "Chopped" winner David Ho is heading to Arlington to participate in a kid's cooking competition. A Loudon County native, Ho will judge the K12 National Cook-Off being held at Kitchen of Purpose on Saturday, July 13 in Arlington. Celebrity chef Isabel Coss and Kitchen of Purpose director of programs Daniela Hurtado will serve alongside Ho as judges.
Lenoir City, Loudon Fitness Centers helping student athletes
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association’s summer athletic dead period, which sees the stop of any school organization practices and workouts on school property, is in full swing from June 23 through July 7. One local business is giving back to the community in a unique way. The Loudon and Lenoir City Fitness Centers are offering an open gym to high school student athletes from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. free of charge during the dead period. ...
