State unemployment holds steady at historic low
NASHVILLE — Tennessee continues to experience record-low unemployment, according to data released by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD). The rate for June came in at 3%, which was unchanged from the all-time low unemployment rate the state recorded in May. Championship spotter and Bristol native Bob Jeffrey passes away after cancer battle
Bob Jeffrey, a championship spotter in both the NASCAR Cup Series and the Indy Car Series, passed away after battling cancer. He was 65 years old. Bob was a native of Bristol and attended Tennessee High before his family moved to West Virginia before his senior year of high school.
