    Quack-tacular Finish: Ducks Dash for a Cause at Huntington Fire Company and Phillipsburg Rotary Derby

    PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - The inaugural Huntington Fire Company and Phillipsburg Rotary Duck Derby quacked its way to success this weekend, with over 600 tickets sold and eight lucky ducks crossing the finish line for fantastic prizes. The event, held to raise funds for local initiatives, drew an enthusiastic crowd and highlighted the community spirit.

    Nicole Hummer's duck number 558, took first place, earning her a $500 Visa gift card donated by the Huntington Fire Company. In second place was Johnathan Landone's duck, number 301, which won a $400 gift card donated by the Huntington Fire Club. Marlene Oberly's duck, number 81, snagged third place and a $300 gift card donated by Matt Trapnani and the Phillipsburg Rotary.

    Jim Farley's duck, number 467, finished in fourth place, winning a $200 gift card donated by McWane Ductile. Danielle DeGerolamo's duck, number 515, came in fifth, earning her a $100 ShopRite gift card donated by Phillipsburg Rotarians. M. Valcich, whose duck was number 499, also won a $100 ShopRite gift card for sixth place, courtesy of the Phillipsburg Rotarians.

    Debbie Weller's duck, number 229, landed seventh place, winning a $50 gift card to Panera and Home Depot, donated by Danielle DeGerolamo, Barbara Dragotta, and Bob Gould. The final prize went to Brent Todd's duck number 156, which finished eighth and earned a $50 gift card to The Bayou in Easton and O'Kaysions Katering, donated by Bob Valcich and Deb Shelly.

    The event was a rousing success, not just for the winners, but for all those who supported the Huntington Fire Company and Phillipsburg Rotary in their fundraising efforts for local projects.
