While the Illini have zero commitments for the class of 2025 thus far, we have been able to strike gold a couple of times. C-U Days returns to Douglass Park August 9-10
Champaign-Urbana Days is an annual celebration by Champaign Park District that’s been rolling for 30 years now, which is quite an impressive feat. This year’s celebration once again takes place at Douglass Park in Champaign on August 9-10, featuring gospel music, local food, vendors, inflatables, face painting, and so much more to entertain those kiddos. Outing helps Victim assitance program
On July 19, 2024, Vermilion County State’s Attorney, Jacqueline Lacy and the Victim Assistance Program hosted their 29th Annual Victim Assistance Golf Outing at Turtle Run Golf Club in Danville. Golfers came out to enjoy the beautiful day and to promote the Victim Assistance Program. Local residents and businesses showed their support with monetary and in-kind donations. As a result, the Victim Assistance Program was able to raise more than $11,000.
