Delaware dubbed ‘best state to retire’

The results are in!

According to Bankrate, Delaware is the best state to retire in 2024.

The company says Delaware is a tax-friendly state for retirees due to the fact that it doesn’t have state or local sales tax and it doesn’t tax social security benefits.

According to Bankrate’s website, “this study ranked all fifty U.S. states by affordability (40% of the ranking), overall well-being (25%), quality/cost of health care (20%), weather (10%) and crime
(5%).
