    ‘Ring the bell, PHL!’: School District of Philadelphia gets ready for back to school

    The School District of Philadelphia is getting ready for back to school at Citizens Bank Park.

    In an event they call Ring the Bell they talked about the new things coming this school year and the resources students which include 800 new hires.

    Superintendent Tony Watlington says he is excited to start the new year with new teachers and counselors coming to schools.

    Classes in the city are set to start on August 26th.
