    Pennsylvania State Police to host child car seat safety checks

    Pennsylvania State Police want to help you make sure your child is riding in your car safely.

    In September PSP will be hosting two car seat safety check events.

    The first event will occur in Limerick on September 16 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Patriot Chevrolet of Limerick at 40 Autopark Boulevard.

    Appointments are required. Email mnaab@pa.gov and include your name, and phone number, Please leave your name, phone number, year/make/model of the vehicle, and the make/model of the car seat.

    For residents living near Lafayette Hill, the second one will occur on September 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company on 647 Germantown Pike.

    Appointments are strongly encouraged but walk-ins will also be accepted. You can call 215-452-5208 or email pholdefer@pa.gov to make an appointment for Lafayette Hill.
