Little Walter’s offers Polish comforts in East Kensington

Little Walter’s is a restaurant located in East Kensington that serves up contemporary Polish cuisine. Executive Chef and owner, Michael Brenfleck has created a menu inspired by his heritage and culinary expertise.

According to their website, “Little Walter’s is a tribute to his grandfather, offering a distinctive dining experience that highlights the fusion of deep-rooted tradition and modern flair in a welcoming Philadelphia neighborhood.”

“The menu is all about food that I had when I was growing up,” said Brenfleck.

You can find traditional Polish favorites like Pierogi Ruskie, kielbasa and fresh bread made in house.

Little Walter’s also has a unique and extensive cocktail menu.

“They’re all named after Polish professions. We have a pickled martini with Luksusowa vodka from Poland and our house made pickle juice and we call it piłkarz which is actually footballer,” said Brenfleck.
