If you eat gluten-free and are looking to find more gluten-free brands in Philly, you’re in luck because Philly is hosting a Gluten-free expo for the first time in five years.

Wicked Gluten Free will be hosting the gluten-free expo on Saturday, September 7th from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.

The expo will be open to the public and will feature over 100 local and national bakeries, brands, restaurants, snacks, food trucks, and artisans.

The public will be able to purchase gluten-free products such as baking mixes, breads and pierogi to donuts, pretzels and pizza crusts. Attendees can also grab lunch from vendors selling calzones, as well as sample various savory and sweet treats.

“The number of people being diagnosed with celiac disease increases by seven percent annually, and roughly 30 percent of the entire population actively avoids gluten.”, said Abby Helman Kelly, owner of Wicked Gluten Free.

“Our attendees spend the day discovering, sampling, eating, purchasing, and connecting – all safely gluten-free. And for the people who must avoid gluten, that’s pretty special.” Kelly also includes a B2B hour, offering valuable growth and networking opportunities for vendors.
