SEPTA to increase regional rail service

SEPTA is increasing its regional rail service.

The new fall schedules will be in effect on Sunday, September 8th.

The transit agency says the new timetables will increase service to over 80% of pre-pandemic levels on weekdays and weekends.

Some highlights include restoring 30 minute weekend service to the airport, hourly weekend service on most lines, and additional rail cars to help over crowding.

All lines except the Cynwyd Line will have new schedules. For more information about the new service, you can go to septa.org .
