If you’re a Temple University parent, there is a new scam police are warning about.

They say two parents got a call from a 215 number, identifying themselves as police, and telling them their child had been arrested. They demanded money for their child to be released.

Temple University Police inform that they will never call a parent to request money.

If you get targeted by this scam, call Temple University at 215-204-1234 to file a report.
