The Philadelphia Police Department’s 35th District and Police District Advisory Council are hosting their annual Unity Day event on Saturday, September 7.

This annual event promotes unity, safety, and community engagement throughout Philadelphia’s Northwest communities and will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 5500 – 5300 Broad Street.

Those who attend will be able to participate in a variety of activities for all ages, enjoy live music, food vendors, community resource booths, games, and a chance to meet and engage with local police officers and community leaders.

Police say, “This year’s event aims to foster a stronger sense of community, build positive relationships between the police and residents, and celebrate the diversity of the northwest Philadelphia community.”

Unity Day, “serves as an important opportunity to bring together residents, community organizations, and law enforcement in a positive and collaborative environment. It’s a chance to celebrate our shared values, build trust, and promote peace and safety within the community.”
