Aqimero reimagines traditional teatime with Boozy Tea immersive experience

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Once a month, Aqimero transforms the lobby inside the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia into a tearoom to host Boozy Tea , a contemporary tea party infused with a lively Latin flair. DJ Eddie Tully spins the 1s and 2s, blasting the Sound of Philadelphia, Gamble & Huff, bartenders pour creatively crafted glass teapots of spirited cocktails with a spread of menu tastings by restaurateur and chef Richard Sandoval, who serves up a Latin twist on traditional teatime.

We wanted to do a play on traditional English teatime that is very traditional with Ritz-Carlton, but keeping in theme with Aqimero and making it a little fun by adding some booze to it,” said Director of Operations John Christinzio, the brains behind Boozy Tea.
