Weckerly’s Ice Cream opens new scoop shop in King of Prussia Mall

Attention ice cream lovers! Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Philadelphia’s beloved micro-creamery, has opened up a second location at the King of Prussia Mall.

Starting off on a sweet note, Weckerly’s will be hosting a grand opening event on September 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., during which the first 100 customers will receive a free ice cream scoop.

The new King of Prussia Mall location will have 12 rotating scoop flavors and their famous ice cream sandwiches, including new fall-inspired flavors such as:

• Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL): Layers of coffee ice cream, made with fresh ground coffee beans, pumpkin bourbon ice cream, and pumpkin butter between two cinnamon cookies
• Just Peachy: A peach cobbler-inspired treat featuring local peaches simmered into a sweet, sticky jam and house-made buttery pie dough crumbles, swirled into Weckerly’s whole-bean vanilla ice cream.
• Pear Vanilla Sorbet: Freshly roasted pears, infused with whole bean vanilla and seasoned with cinnamon, sugar, and cardamom

“Every scoop of our ice cream is a chance to spread a little bit of happiness,” said Cristina Torres, CEO and Owner of Weckerly’s.

“Opening at the King of Prussia Mall means we can bring that joy to even more of the Greater Philadelphia community, and we’re over the moon to be here!”

The new scoop shop is located inside the King of Prussia Mall, on the lower level near the Nordstrom entrance, adjacent to Aritzia and Madewell.

Weckerly’s King of Prussia scoop shop will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
