Philly Fashion Week 2024 is upon us!

This annual celebration of fashion and design starts on Wednesday, September 18th, with a kickoff party that will set the tone for the week.

Philly Fashion Week is on its 19th year, and Co-Founder and producer Kerry Scott joined us in the PHL17 studio to talk to us about what you can expect along with how far PFW has come.

“Our biggest accomplishment is opening up a brick and mortar at the fashion district where we now have Maison of Philly Fashion Week, we’re really excited about that, giving these designers a platform to be able to sell their garments,” said Scott

When it comes to the designers, Scott says, “This gives them a platform to really push and get themselves out there, and really get them into stores, being seen and it’s just really exciting that we support them and push them and get them to showcase their items.”

Here is a look at PFW schedule:

PFW Official Kickoff Party Wednesday, September 18th 6pm-10pm
NextUp Trend Show Thursday, September 19th 5:30pm-7:30pm
Avantgarde Ball Friday, September 20th 7pm-10pm
    Runway I Saturday, September 21st 7pm-10pm
Runway II Sunday, September 22nd 7pm-10pm

As far as what you can expect, Scott told us “What sets it apart from other areas is that we don’t just bring in Philly designers, we bring in designers from around the world.”
