Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman laid to rest

Philadelphia Police Officer Jaime Roman has been laid to rest.

He was shot during a traffic stop in June before going into a coma. He passed away in the hospital early last week.

Officer Roman was approaching his 7th anniversary on the force.

Commissioner Kevin Bethel announced Roman would be posthumously promoted to sergeant and that his badge numbers would be retired.

He is survived by his wife, who is also a Philadelphia police officer, and two young children.
