Teen found shot to death outside MLK High School in East Germantown

Police have identified the boy who was found dead outside Martin Luther King High School in East Germantown.

Philadelphia Police said the victim is 16-year-old William Honesty and was found shot and killed late Sunday night. He lived a few blocks away in West Oak Lane.

As reported on Action News at 10 on PHL17, Honesty was not a School District of Philadelphia student.

Right now, investigators aren’t sure what sparked the shooting, and no arrests have been made.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for any information that can potentially lead to an arrest.
