The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office said a man has been convicted of third-degree murder after the unprovoked killing of a man in North Philadelphia last year.

Back in April 2023, Seitu Harris was ambushed outside of a cell phone store near Watts Street and Girard Avenue.

Both suspects, Daniel Gonzalez and Deonte Davis, got away on the Broad Street Line.

Officers recovered palm prints from the store’s door and subway turnstile.

Investigators then found social media videos showing Gonzalez wearing the same clothes he had worn at the crime scene.

Daniel Gonzalez was arrested weeks later and will be sentenced in November and the second suspect Deonte Davis is still on the run.
