Upper Darby School District will implement new security measures at both middle schools and high schools within their schools’ district. This decision comes after two recent gun-related incidents that took place earlier in the school year. The school district plans to install 13 new weapons detection systems, which include artificial intelligence that allows the device to help detect possible threats. PHL17’s Tyrone Sharper gives a live report from Drexel Hill, Pa.
