SEPTA to offer extra service for Phillies playoff games

If you’re going to the Phillies game this weekend, SEPTA is offering additional services to get to the Bank.

The Phillies are hosting the New York Mets in Citizens Bank Park at 4:08 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and SEPTA will have regular service to NRG Station with six Express trains leaving Fern Rock Transportation Center every 10 minutes beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Saturday they will have two additional Express trains will leave Fern Rock Transportation Center at 5:40 and 5:50 p.m. to help concertgoers at the Wells Fargo Center.

Broad Street Line users will have a free transfer from the Market-Frankford Line and City Trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall, a short walk from Regional Rail stations in Center City.

Even if the game runs late, fans will find Local and Express Broad Street Line trains at NRG Station.
