Philadelphia Police report a woman was shot and killed by stray gunfire in Kensington.

This happened around 12:30 p.m. this morning near Kensington Avenue and Somerset Street.

Witnesses said the shooter was inside a beer takeout store and involved in a fight with men inside.

They all left the store when the shooter walked along Kensington Avenue and fired a shot.

Police believe the intended targets were not hit and the woman was an innocent bystander.

Investigators are combing through surveillance video from inside and outside of the store to identify the suspect, who was last seen on Kensington Avenue.
