New data shows Psychology is the most popular major in Pennsylvania

Psychology is the most popular major in Pennsylvania, according to a new study.

The data was compiled by online tutoring platform Wiingy and they used Google searches in each state to determine which majors were searched the most.

Psychology was searched in Google an average 9.23 times each month by approximately 10,000 people.

“It is fascinating to discover which college majors’ students are the most interested in studying at university,” said Asit Biswal, CEO of Wiingy. “It’s notable that many of the top majors are not the most traditional subjects and are instead degrees that have more direct career applications. These can prevent the potentially daunting task of having to choose which field to pursue after studying a more theoretical subject.”

Psychology is considered one of the most popular degrees in the United States for young people.
