Man shot in head in West Philadelphia

A man is fighting for his life after getting shot in the head in Mill Creek in West Philadelphia.

This happened just before 10:00 p.m. last night near Lex and Parrish Streets. When officers got to the scene, they found a 20-year-old man laying in the driveway.

He was unresponsive and rushed to Presbyterian Hospital in extremely critical condition.

Philadelphia Police tell PHL17 there were no witnesses and officers found a gun next to the victim’s body.

Police found surveillance cameras in the area and hope it recorded the shooting.
