Chinese food is the most popular food in PA, according to new study

Nowadays, there are a million options for Pennsylvanians to choose from when ordering takeout, but one stands out from the rest.

A new study by Hello Millions, said Chinese food was the most searched food with an average of 538 Google searches per month by 100,000 people.

“It is fascinating to discover which of the world’s cuisines rank most popular among Americans today,” said a spokesperson for Hello Millions. “Asian cuisines reign supreme, taking up three of the top five spots, and half of the top 10 spots overall. Cuisines of the Americas are also popular, occupying three of the top 10 spots, with the remaining two going to European cuisines”.

Chinese cuisine has become a staple in for Americans all over the nation with many adopting rice, soy sauce, and noodles to their daily meals. Some of the most popular Chinese dishes are Pecking Duck, Sweet and Sour Pork, Dim Sum, and Chow Mein.
