Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Christian Walker would be a lock for Cooperstown if he spends his entire career playing at Dodger Stadium.

Walker is hitting like he’s Barry Bonds and Babe Ruth in one body when he’s at the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he proved that again Thursday night when he helped the Diamondbacks earn a 9-3 victory over Shohei Ohtani and Co.

Walker went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs in the series finale against the Dodgers. Moreover, Walker became just the first big leaguer in over nine decades to accomplish a feat last pulled off by New York Yankees legend Lou Gehrig.

    Via OptaSTATS :

Last 5 games at Dodger Stadium for the @Dbacks' Christian Walker:

    15 times on base (H+BB+HBP)

    11 hits

    9 XBH

    7 HR

In MLB history, the only other player to reach all of those numbers over a 5-game span at any road ballpark in a season was Lou Gehrig at League Park in 1930.

Walker didn’t just turn into a dominant force at Dodger Stadium all of a sudden. He has been doing it for years. In fact, he is batting .341/.401/.783 with 19 home runs and 32 RBIs in 42 games played there, dating back to 2018.

Hopefully, for the Diamondbacks, Walker will stay hot when they kick off a three-game series against the San Diego Padres this Friday at PETCO Park, where he is just a career .211 hitter .
