Phoenix police detectives are investigating after a woman and two men were found dead inside a Phoenix apartment that was set on fire, authorities said.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the causes of death, according to a release from the Phoenix Police Department.

Police and fire personnel responded about 6:30 a.m. July 15 to the apartment complex at 13229 S. 48 th St.

The fire was extinguished, and the adults were found, all three suffering “obvious signs of trauma that was not related to the fire inside of the apartment,” police said.

The Phoenix Fire Department’s Arson Investigation Task Force and the Phoenix Police Department’s Homicide Unit began an investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
