Federal officials have approved Oregon’s request to offer free Medicaid services for addiction and some other services to people who are on the verge of being released from jail or prison, something that’s prohibited by federal law. The fair saw 2,300 visitors Thursday, plus 5,200 people came to see Josh Turner in concert Thursday night. Total attendance for the fair, which started Tuesday, is more than 17,500, according to organizers. The fair continues through Sunday night.
