Homemade Baked Chicken Parmesan: Easy and Delicious!

This is one of my favorite italian dishes ever and the best part is you only need just a few ingredients to make this simple but mouthwatering entree of Chicken Parmesan!

Ingredients:

4 Chicken Breasts (sliced in half lengthwise to make 8 breast pieces)

3/4 Cup of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

1/4 Cup of Parmesan cheese (grated)

2 Tablespoons of Butter (melted)

1 Cup of Marinara Sauce

1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:
Begin the baking process by preheating your oven to 450F degrees.

While the oven is heating up, spray a baking sheet with cooking spray to prevent the chicken breasts from sticking to the sheet pan.

Mix your italian breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese together in a bowl.

Using a basting brush, lightly brush the melted butter onto the chicken breasts. Dip the breasts into the breadcrumb and parmesan mixture and coat well.

After the chicken breasts are fully coated, place the chicken breasts onto the baking sheet and lightly spray the top of the chicken with a little bit of cooking spray. Bake the breasts in the oven for around 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes are up, take the chicken out of the oven and place a coating of marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese over the top of each chicken breast.

Place the chicken back into the oven and bake it for around five minutes or until the cheese on top of the chicken breasts are fully melted.

This can be served with noodles and leftover marinara sauce or just by itself. Either way it is truly delicious!
