Easy Caramel Apple Recipe: Perfect Fall Treat!

Ingredients:

3 Honey Crisp Apples

1 1/2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream

8 1/2 Ounces of Soft Carmels

Chocolate Candies or Peanuts

Directions:

Rinse your honey crisp apples off and pat them off dry with a papertowel. Let the them set for a few more minutes just to make sure that all of the water is off of the apples.

Place parchment paper onto a glass plate to prevent the apples from sticking.

While you are still waiting for the apples to completely dry, place 1 1/2 Tablespoons of heavy cream into a bowl along with 8 1/2 ounces of soft carmels.

Take a stick and place it in the center each of the honey crisp apples.

Place the bowl of cream and carmels into the microwave and melt in 30 second increments, stirring well between each time. (It took me two 30 second increments for the carmels to completely melt.)

Once the carmel is melted, take the dry apple and dip the apple into the carmel. Let the carmel drip a few seconds from the apple before returning the apple back onto the parchment paper.

You can also roll your carmel apple in chocolate candies or in peanuts. It is really just your preference!

Place the carmel apples in the fridge and let the carmel to set for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
