Granny's Coconut Cake: Simple & Delightful!

This is my granny's simple and delightful coconut cake! I hope that you all enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 Box of White Cake Mix

3/4 Cups of Milk

1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil

3 Eggs

1 Can of Coconut Milk or Coconut Cream

1 Can of Condensed Milk

1 8oz. Container of Cool Whip

1/2 of A 7oz. Bag of Shredded Coconut

Directions:

Begin the process by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.

Next combine your cake mix, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of oil and 3/4 cup of milk in a bowl and mix well.

Spray your 13" x 9" cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour your well mixed cake batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the batter out until it is even in the pan.

Once the oven reaches a temperature of 350 degrees, place the cake pan inside of the oven.

Bake the cake to the time directed on the side of the cake box or until a toothpick is inserted into the cake and comes out clean.

Once the cake is done, remove the cake from the oven and turn your oven off.

Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the cake to allow the the condensed milk and coconut milk to be absorbed in the cake. Do this processs while the cake is still hot and not cool.

Let the cake cool and once it is cool, spread the 8oz. container of cool whip on top of the cake. Sprinkle the top of the cake with shredded coconut.
