Human remains found in wooded area in Liberty, South Carolina, deputies say
PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. — Pickens County Sheriff's Office have found human remains in a heavily wooded area in Liberty, South Carolina. On Saturday, July 6, just after 10 a.m., deputies with Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to the 100 block of Shivers Lane in Liberty. Deputies found the body of what appears to be a man in a wooded area of Shivers Lane.

South Carolina Highway Patrol announce a person has died after a crash in Pickens County
PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol has released information regarding a delayed death following a crash in Pickens County. According to troopers, the single-vehicle crash happened on June 20, just before 6 p.m., on Kings Way Drive near Bethany Hills Drive outside of Liberty, South Carolina. A 2006 Chevrolet SUV was traveling north on Kings Way when the vehicle went off the left side of the road into several trees.
