Sault Ste. Marie man faces 12 charges for viewing, possessing child pornography
SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Sault Ste. Marie man is facing multiple child sex crime charges after investigators discovered he was viewing child pornography online. The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit says 21-year-old Jacob Tyler Dumas faces ten counts of child sexually abusive activity – aggravated possession and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned on his charges in 91st District Court on July 2.

SAULT STE. MARIE – The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians announced today the results of their 2024 walleye and whitefish stocking efforts in northern Michigan. Following a successful open house at its walleye hatchery in Dafter on June 12, where the public was invited to get an up-close look at its pond-rearing techniques, Sault Tribe staff transported and released an estimated 1,178,555 walleye fingerlings into the waters of the eastern Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula.
