TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Southern Arizona will settle into an active mid-July Monsoon pattern this week with daily scattered storms, some of which can pack a punch! Strong winds and localized heavy rainfall remain storm threats throughout the week with high temperatures in Tucson topping out 4° to 7° above normal. Heading into the weekend, high pressure will shift westward and strengthen, giving us a northeasterly flow. This will increase our chance of seeing storms fire up off the higher terrain and Mogollon Rim, before pushing into the lower deserts.

A new video shows an Arizona mountain lion being released back into the wild. Wildlife officers captured the big cat on July 12 after it wandered onto the campus of the Tucson Medical Center. They tranquilized the mountain lion and put a GPS radio collar around its neck. It was released back into the wild on July 13 away from the Tucson area.

Tucson, Ariz. — Hanley Investment Real Estate Advisors has negotiated the $4 million sale of a single-tenant property located in Tucson. First Watch occupies the property, which totals 4,164 square feet, on a triple-net-lease basis. Bill Asher, Jeff Lefko and Lee Csenar of Hanley represented the seller and developer in the transaction.
