A fun week of Day Camp is coming to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church July 29 – Aug. 2. Day Camp involves five days of Christian Day Camping for youth in grades Pre-K through 6th grade (in the fall). The Day Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day, except for Friday, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Man taken in custody after breaking into clinic to dodge police
A man is in custody after he tried to evade police by breaking into a dialysis clinic Friday in northeast Albuquerque. According to a criminal complaint, Clement Akiya was among a group of people sitting on private property along the 900 block of Louisiana Boulevard NE around 7 p.m. Friday. After officers arrived at the scene, Akiya tried to provide officers with a false name when he was asked to identify himself.
