Three men with AR-15-style rifles rob victim of watch, wallet in Piedmont

( KRON ) — A victim was robbed of his belongings at gunpoint in Piedmont on Thursday. The Piedmont Police Department said the robbery occurred in the 300 block of Magnolia Avenue.

According to police, at about 3 p.m., a victim was approached by three men wearing black ski masks. The victim said the suspects were armed with one pistol and two AR-15-style rifles.

Police said the suspect was robbed of his wallet and Vaer-brand watch.

Piedmont PD said this case is still under investigation. They said the suspects’ car was a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee (pictured below). The car’s rear license plate reads: BU71K81.
