PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Dollywood said early Thursday that it would reopen as scheduled on Thursday, July 18, following a closure on Wednesday.

The park was temporarily closed for the remainder of Wednesday due to a water main break.

Tennessee returned $63 million in unclaimed property, has almost $1 billion remaining

Just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, the park announced the closure on social media. Dollywood maintenance teams and crews with the City of Pigeon Forge were working to repair the break.

A park spokesperson confirmed to WATE that all tickets and parking receipts from Wednesday will be honored when Dollywood reopens. In addition, to request a refund for purchases related to July 17, the park says to call 1-800-Dollywood.

“We sincerely apologize to all guests who were impacted by the water main break. The closure prevented us from creating memories worth repeating for you and your families yesterday, and we want to make it right,” wrote the park on Facebook.
