Dollywood theme park reopens after water main break

UPDATE (7/18) – Dollywood Parks & Resorts confirmed Thursday morning that the theme park is now open following a water main break.

Officials said on their Facebook page, “We sincerely apologize to all guests who were impacted by the water main break.”

Anyone affected by Wednesday’s incident is asked to call Dollywood at 1 (800) DOLLYWOOD to request a refund, the theme park said.

All admission tickets, passes, parking and locker receipts from July 17 will be honored upon guests’ next Dollywood visit.

(WSPA) – Dollywood Parks & Resorts announced Wednesday morning that the theme park is closed for the day.

Officials said maintenance teams and crews from the City of Pigeon Forge are on the scene to repair a water main break.

A time of restoration has not been released at this time.

Dollywood’s Splash County and Dollywood resort properties are not affected according to the theme park.
